You do not need to report lab absences for biology. Make sure to catch up on the missed content from your class mates

Extensions
Extensions up to 5 working days can be agreed for written assessments by the course coordinator. Contact them to discuss this including any evidence you have to explain why you are requesting an extension.
Missed deadlines result in a 2 grade point deduction for every working day, or part of a working day past the deadline.

Feedback
Feedback will be returned within 15 working days of the assessment deadline. The weekly course notice will update everyone weekly and explain what stage each assessments marking is at.

All the details can be found in the assessment information book on the Biology 1A Moodle page. The noticeboard on Moodle will give an indication of what is covered in the exam.

The quiz can include questions from any lectures related to the specific labs it focuses on (these are detailed in the assessment information book). If the lecture topic has not come up in the lab then it will not be in the quiz.
